Creating Galician content for social media: a conscious decision or an act of faith? In this conversation, Prado Rúa and Konachadas discuss algorithms, hate, opportunities, and why, despite everything, they continue to complain about viral content. An hour to display what little shame they have left and share a bit of gossip.

This creative activism workshop is an accelerator of activist projects, conducted by Marina García Canedo, creator and strategist at teta&teta and a reference in political communication and digital culture.
We will analyze how culture, media, and political discourse operate today in the age of endless scrolling, identifying when purposeful communication generates transformation and when it’s merely window dressing, greenwashing, pinkwashing, or performative activism.
We will explore how to design strategies that produce real conversation and movement, not just reach or content to whatever trend is on. This workshop invites us to become agents of change, capable of reading, thinking, and activating social issues beyond the aesthetics of purpose.
Because a world limited to selling products is, besides being worse, much more boring.

In this edition of the Carballo Interplay we will have a conversation around the article “Scroll, language, nation: political Galicianness on the networks in the TikTok era”, by Malva F. R., in issue 5 of the Clara Corbelhe magazine, in which we will be accompanied by both Malva and Élia Lago, in charge of this edition of the magazine.
The Clara Corbelhe Institute is a meeting place between academia and citizens for the strengthening of Galician critical studies with several lines of publication and activity. And also, in this fifth issue of the magazine, you will see that old friends of the festival have also written, such as the teacher and researcher Cibrán Tenreiro or Proyecto Una.

It’s impossible to talk about the digital world in 2026 without mentioning artificial intelligence. What seemed like science fiction just a few years ago is now part of everyday life for anyone with internet access. These new tools and language models, such as Claude, ChatGPT, GeminAI, Grok, and Midjourney, have as many supporters as detractors.
On the one hand, their ability to generate text and images makes life easier for many people; on the other, their environmental impact is unacceptable, and their effect on the human psyche is still being studied. In this first activity of the PRO Zone, we will analyze their impact with the help of Maldita.es, a non-profit foundation and media outlet specializing in fact-checking and debunking misinformation.
